Henry is is an experienced business and digital change professional with a significant track record of achievement in managing large-scale business and technology transformation programmes (£5m to £800m) for a wide variety of UK and European-based Finance and Media companies and Central Government departments |
Why are transformations important? |
Because they allow companies to flex with, and take advantage of, technology advances and changes in their markets and sectors. They also provide the workforce with the opportunity to obtain new knowledge and skills, thus adding to the overall value of the company and its staff |
How can you make transformations a success? |
By ensuring that the executive team is aligned from the beginning; that the end goal and what good looks like is understood and supported; that the transformation lasts no more than 12 months to avoid transformation fatigue and external changes impacting success; that a road map from getting from the ‘as-is’ to the ‘to be’ is published and regularly updated; and that the optimal team for the transformation is identified and selected |
What advice would you give to someone embarking upon a transformation? |
That the CEO in particular, and their executive team, are totally commited to the above 5 critical success factors and that they put them in place before starting the transformation |
What book would you recommend to help people on their transformation journey and why? |
The Chimp Paradox by Prof Steve Peters |
