Why are transformations important? |
Transformations are part of the evolutionary nature of life. When a better way of doing something is discovered, just like nature, evolution builds upon what works and discards what does not. This is the same in business. Business is a delicate ecosystem with many different participants and all need to be aligned to create success. When one part is out of sync this can lead to new ways of doing something or transforming itself into something more relevant. |
How can you make transformations a success? |
Adoption is key and this can only happen when participants or those affected by the change understand what the changes are and why they are important. Communication is vital to generate adoption and this creates a network effect. |
What advice would you give to someone embarking upon a transformation? |
Transformations are not easy and will often feel like an uphill struggle at the beginning. This applies to personal transformations too especially when changing habits. So the best way to do this is to understand why you want to transform and that will help you keep motivated to make the changes. Why is this change so important? What will it unlock? |
What book would you recommend to help people on their transformation journey and why? |
I found ‘The Untethered Soul’ by Michael A. Singer life-changing and had a profound effect on the way I approached life. It is relevant to all as it talks about the transformational nature of human souls and how we change and grow and perhaps most importantly, how transformations show we are alive. Stagnation results in death. |
